I ate healthy and worked out in both photos … so what's the difference!? – – The difference was not in how I worked out but in HOW "healthy" I ate. In the before picture I treated myself to unhealthy foods much too often. In my head I thought I was doing a 90% healthy 10% unhealthy approach but in reality I was doing a 60-70% healthy and 30-40% unhealthy. Especially on the weekends. If my husband opened a bag of chips I figured that as long as I didn't have the bag of chips on MY lap and I just grabbed a handful (or 4 handfuls) then the calories didn't really count … joke's on me haha! Once I did Arbonne's 30 days to healthy living and REALLY committed to the plan my digestions was better my water weight vanished bloating was gone and my energy levels were way UP! If you believe what you read then your kidneys are slowly failing and your bones are becoming as brittle as a 90 year old Grandma. . But this myth is false. . Studies have shown no link between a high protein diet and either of these problems. . Your body is a fantastic machine. . Your kidneys can filter up to 180 litres of blood every day. . Losing Weight So hands down the most common question I get asked is how to lose weight. The answer is always the same – create a calorie deficit. But how can you create a calorie deficit? Well there are 3 strategies. Eat less. Move more. Or both. So which is best? Well assuming you want to lose about 1lb a week you’ll need to create a deficit of 500 calories per day. Lets see what that means across the 3 methods: Eat Less – just consume 500 fewer calories. That could be as simple as skipping breakfast. You need to keep protein high however so reducing food intake may make it tougher to hit your protein goal. It can also lead to lower energy and increased hunger. Move More – a lot of people decide to increase energy output rather than reduce intake. But people massively underestimate the calorie burn for their efforts. To burn 500 calories you’d need to walk for around 90 minutes at a brisk pace each day. Do Both – so what happens if we combine the two approaches? Well if we put the t
